Pyramid Rebuild and Machine highlights its Campro CPV-1050B vertical machining center. The CPV-1050B is a versatile machining center with travels of 41.3" × 20.8" × 30.7", box way construction, 12,000-rpm spindle, rapid traverse rates of 1,181 ipm and feedrates up to 945 ipm. It is equipped with the FANUC 0iMF Plus control and includes FANUC’s high-speed machining functions.

The CPV-1050B’s box way construction, 40-taper, Big Plus Spindle with large diameter bearings and FANUC 25-hp spindle motor enables for heavy cutting in ferrous and exotic materials. The 12,000 RPM spindle with FANUC’s high-speed machining features enable it to machine aluminum and similar materials at a high rate.

According to the company, the machine’s large 30.7" Z-axis travel and distance from table to spindle of up to 34.6" gives shops space to use larger fixtures, machine weldments, fabrications and easily incorporate fourth-axis tables as well as tilting rotary tables up to 16" in diameter.

All machines are equipped with 30-tool automatic tool changer (ATC), 290-psi through-spindle coolant, chip conveyor, fourth-axis prep and Renishaw GUI and optical receiver installed.

With its box way construction, combined with 945 ipm cutting speeds, 12,000-rpm Big Plus spindle and 34.6" between spindle nose and table, Pyramid says the Campro CPV-1050B provides the versatility needed to take on a wide range of work.
